Chile Opening Borders for Travel

Chile will be opening its borders for the first time in over a year and a half to foreign tourists starting October 1st.

Travelers must be fully vaccinated and will have to show proof at the airport when they arrive. Santiago, Iquique, and Autofogasta are the cities that allow incoming international travel. People can travel throughout the country once they get past the checkpoints in those cities.

The destination highlights of the country include the Torres Del PaineEaster Island, and The Atacama Desert.

Torres Del Paine

Isla Magdalena

Easter Island

There are vast and contrasting regions that Chile has to offer. Now travelers have the opportunity to visit these places if they choose to trek further south on the continent.
